Stroud – Rock Café
The Rock Café dates from the year 1936, when Roy Rieves began to build, the house stone by stone. He used the stones that were removed during the paving of the new Route 66 from the old road. Needed three years for Roy to bulit the restaurant. In 1939, he was finished and the café was opened.

Acardia – Pops
The giant pop bottle in front of the building is 66 feet (20.11 meters) high and weighs about 4 tons. The futuristic building is a diner and you can buy more than 1000 different soda (lemonade) varieties there. From cucumber soda to Bacon Soda, and many more.

Hydro – Soda Fountain Grill
In hydro there is a fountain, after this dinner was named. There probably are not too many Route 66 travelers in Hydro nowadays, so the bar is closed. 1901 Hydro was founded, today the town has about 900 inhabitants.

Clinton – White Dog Hill Restaurant
The first class restaurant is located on Route 66, from there you have a wonderful view over the plains. 1926 to 1960, the building was no restaurant, but a club house of the golf club of Clinton. Before it became a restaurant, it was inhabited until 1983. The truck in front of the entrance is a eyecatcher for customers.
